CCT Process Engineer
(Core Competency Group) (m/w)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop the technical and launch skills in our EU plants
- Develop and provide standards for equipment and processes through collaboration with the plants (Both new and existing processes).
- Provide a link between product engineering and manufacturing resources.
- Provide equipment capacity utilisation data from all the plants and take actions to run our equipment on a high pre-specified OEE in order to meet our CAPEX target
- Analyse customer RFQ (Request for Quotation) as an input for the CQA (Customer Quote Approval Process) meeting and strategic direction to provide clear information to the technical Director and staff for strategic operations decisions making.
- Actively support the engineering / design resource to produce designs and drawings matching our production capability (Feasibility reviews, Design for Manufacturing, etc.)
- Coordinate design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material and launch group, to ensure a flawless product launch and a capable manufacturing process
- Support and mentor as specifically agreed, those developing regions within a strict and clear operational framework
- Support strategic initiatives (e.g. Production Supervisory System PSS, Manufacturing Execution System MES, Technology and Best Cost Leadership, Process Automation, Strategic Footprint and Network Optimization, etc.)
Required Skills
- Engineering degree or Equivalent
- Knowledge in applying statistical methods of Six Sigma will be beneficial
- Ability to work target oriented on complex projects in a tight time frame
- High level of conflict and problem solving ability
- Ability to work in a matrix organisation
- Ability to communicate written and verbally
- Willingness to travel on a reasonable amount
Required Experience
Special knowledge and experience in forming, welding or material science will be beneficial
