Reporting directly into the Senior Manager, Tax, the Tax Manager role is responsible for preparing the company’s federal and state tax filings and leading the preparation of the quarterly and year-end tax accounting obligations.

• Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns utilizing OneSource software
• Computation of our quarterly and year-end tax provision utilizing OneSource software
• Work closely with Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager and controllers across North America and Europe in resolving tax related issues and questions.
• Calculation of quarterly and year-end FIN 48 amounts
• Reconciliation of tax balance sheet accounts
• Managing tax functions for adequate 404 control testing
• Responsible for implementation and operation of tax technology tools. Functions as subject matter expert with respect to tax-specific software (OneSource)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent PC Skills (Word, Excel, Access and Database Management, etc.)
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment
• Ability to work with minimal direction and supervision

• 5 – 10 years of corporate tax department or national public accounting firm, including corporate tax experience in federal, state and/or international taxation and expertise in tax and compliance and tax accounting
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience
• Designation as CPA, MST preferred
• Well versed in financial information reporting systems such as SAP as well as tax software packages, specifically OneSource
• Expertise with U.S. corporate, state, and international tax compliance and tax accounting
