    We are seeking a IT Project Manager, Portfolio Lead & Pricing, the IT Project Manager Pricing will execute Pricing projects varying size and complexity within the Sales & Marketing Portfolio. The main objective of the IT Project Manager Pricing is to deliver each project, on time, within budget, within the required functionality and operational specifications through the project team members assigned through agile or waterfall project methodology. This position is required to work seamlessly with IT stakeholders, business leaders, and external suppliers across regions, business units, and domains involving deployment of new technologies and capabilities.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Acts as central point of contract for all project activities.
    • Manages the day-to-day tasks / activities for all resources assigned to project. Ensure tasks are completed on time and roadblocks and / or obstacles are identified and communicated to appropriate management resources.
    • Monitor project performance throughout the lifecycle, establish and communicate reporting metrics, and escalate issues of concern to project owners and key stakeholders.
    • Drives decisions to ensure success of the project taking into account timing, risk, functional and technical requirements, and business benefits.
    • Works with vendors, based on requirements from project owners to define timeline and deliverables.
    • Manages vendors to meet the deadlines and develops quality deliverables, ensures integration and communication across project team and vendors.
    • Defines and manages for each project a plan including work breakdown structures, project milestones, critical path analysis, risk assessment and management plans, cost/benefit analyses, staffing plans, project timelines and project budgets.
    • Integrates OCM (Organizational Change Management) activities within the project plan.
    • Prepares project status reports for upper management.
    • Prepares and manages a project budget.
    • Support contract and vendor management teams to facilitate third-party SOW development and acceptance.
    • Ensures milestones are met on time and within team and project budgets.
    • Identifies ways to accelerate the project execution where possible while maintaining high quality standards.
    • Ensures project adherence to the chosen project methodology; Agile or waterfall.
    • Assist with gathering, communicating and formalizing customer requirements in the form of business requirements or user stories.
    • Acts as a change manager when introducing new features in the Pricing domain.
    • Builds and maintains positive working relationships with project team members, resource managers, vendors, other project managers, project sponsor and other departments involved in project execution.
    • Contributes to the analysis of Capacity and Resource Staffing levels.
    • Drives continuous improvement to project execution methodology(s), practices, and tools.  
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    EDUCATION:Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field required.

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum 5 years of working experience as a Project Manager, managing complex global projects ranging from mid-size to large corporate IT initiatives.
    • 3+ years of experience working in Pricing domain with a good understanding of the business/systems concepts e.g. relational / non-relational databases, object-oriented programming languages involving Java / Groovy, Web services …
    • Experience with leading projects based on one of the following software tools – PriceFX, Syncron, Vendavo, Pros, Zilliant, Vistex …
    • Global team leadership experience.
    • Experience in project management methodologies like PMP, Prince2 and Agile. Certificate in one or more methodologies highly preferred.
    • Experience with supplier management and leading third party teams.
    • Experience with writing business requirements and/or user stories.
    • Experience in the automotive and/or manufacturing industries is a plus.
    • Change Management certification is a plus.
    • Skills 
    • Proficiency with various software programs such as Teams, SharePoint, Visio, Planview, and Microsoft Office.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to interface and influence at multiple organizational levels.
    • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user friendly language.
    • Excellent relationship building and networking skills.
    • Strong organization skills, and able to function successfully within a global team environment.

    • Ability to work in both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies depending on the chosen approach.
    • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
    • Self-directed and proactive; thinks beyond immediate problem.
    • Flexible with ability to change priorities quickly and capacity to handle multiple tasks.
    • Strong ability to collaborate, influence and build consensus.
    • Requires travel up to 25% (domestic)
