We are looking for an Operations Manager that is responsible for managing the operations and product flow of multiple machining centers, assembly operations and component manufacturing. Plan, direct, and coordinate the manufacture of ride control systems in accordance with pre-established company objectives at an optimum cost that is consistent with delivery and quality requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain a safe and effective organization/culture through the selection, training, and accountability of personnel.
- Direct the Production Managers in the preparation and implementation of operating plans and strategies consistent with the agreed-to Annual Operating Plan and guide these managers in the preparation of annual budget goals and attainment of annual plant goals.
- Develop, maintain and improve product income levels through waste reduction, cost reduction, and cost improvement plans.
- Partner with the Continuous Improvement Manager in the preparation and implementation of lean plans and strategies consistent with the agreed to AOP and guide this position in the preparation of plan attainment.
- Plan the use of facilities, equipment, and personnel to meet current and future manufacturing requirements, including department budgets and guidelines, plant layout and improvement, and capital expenditure programs.
- Appraise technological developments, investigating feasibility of new equipment and techniques
- Prepare dependable cost estimates for changes in manufacturing methods
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations issued by OSHA, EPA, EEOC, and other Federal, State, and local regulatory agencies, in addition to application certification issued for ISO 14001 and TS16949.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in product management, business administration, or mechanical engineering.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 7+ years of related manufacturing and materials experience.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to collect data, establish facts, define problems and draw valid conclusions.
