    QUALITY TECHNICIAN (CO-OP/INTERN)

    Warranty Technician (Intern) will support the Monroe lab activities in completing warranty parts return analysis /testing and warranty analysis reports.  Warranty Technician (Intern) are responsible to process work orders, support manufacturing teams, evaluate customer warranty rejected units, complete parts analysis/testing and summarize results/finalize lab reports that are provided to multiple internal and external customer teams in a timely manner

    Job Description:

    • Maintain, track, and report manufacturing sites quality performance and customer satisfaction metrics to the business units leadership team periodically.
    • Develop/establish and maintain the monthly business unit reporting documents for monthly leadership meetings
    • Procure customer Performance Metric/Scorecard information from the customer systems, update internal scorecards, and communicate to the business unit leadership team periodically.
    • Lead manufacturing sites efforts/actions to ensure customer scorecard metrics are being met, appropriate actions are defined and closed in a timely manner
    • Procure customer complaints metric from the customer systems, update the internal tracking metric and report performance data/action to the business unit leadership team periodically. Lead the resolution of customer complaints management process at the manufacturing sites.
    • Lead facilities effort to eliminate product and process defect causes by utilizing team-oriented problem solving methodology and recommending changes or solutions to problems. Institute processes to ensure timely and effective resolution of customer complaints via appropriate team-oriented problem solving methodology.
    • Establish Quality Balance Scorecard Systems to ensure internal quality performance metrics.
    • Participate, support, and lead projects for the manufacturing sites that adapt and implement best practices and lessons learned.
    • Minimal travel

    Required Skills

    Working toward at Bachelor's degree in ENGINEERING DISCIPLINES.
