    This role is an excellent opportunity to join us as a LOGISTICS SPECIALIST in our Tenneco, Distribution Operations & Lean EMEA Department in Páty – Hungary.

    ROLE PURPOSE

    In this role, you will

    -Ensure shipping material is available on time in the right quantity

    -Manage claims towards carriers

    -Monitor and properly document waste disposal

    -Monitor and report carrier, vendor, and shipping performance and compliance

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Based on inventory report, place order timely towards shipping material suppliers meeting storage capacity limitations and annual cost targets. Collaborate with purchasing in case of the new requirements.
    • Inbound EKAER registration and management. Follow-up changes in EKAER regulation. In case of regulation changes, verify if all supporting reports align with modified regulations. Ensure shipments are registered or indicated as exempted from registration. Ensure information is passed to 3PL and carrier. Ensure any changes related to registration are adequately followed up and updated. Ensure registration is closed correctly, accurately, and on time. Perform and document regular checks
    • In collaboration with a local quality team, manages claims towards carriers from reporting until final resolution
    • Based on input from 3PL, track carrier compliance. Escalate deviations and seek improvement with carriers.
    • Based on input from 3PL, track vendor compliance. Escalate deviations.
    • Monitor, analyze and report DC shipping performance in collaboration with 3PL. Investigate deviations and take action to resolve them.
    • Based on input from 3PL and waste service provider, report periodic waste and execute settlement with the waste service provider. Make sure proper documentation is received.
    • Support improvement projects.
    • Prepare regular and ad hoc reports.
    • Back up to Inventory Analyst

    • Minimum/Essential: Higher Education – bachelor's degree or secondary school education with relevant experience in logistic administration
    • Desirable: Higher Education – bachelor's degree in foreign trade, logistics
    • Team-player
    • Good level of English written and spoken
    • Reliable, attentive, prompt
    • Extremely accurate

    Required Experience

    • Minimum/Essential: 3 years in logistic administration
    • Desirable: 3 years in logistic administration, SAP R/3, experience in customs procedures
    • Overall knowledge of traffic – export, and import
    • Excellent PC knowledge: MS Office & SAP
  • Qualifications
