    Tenneco is seeking a driven, self-motivated ENGINEERING focused student who has an interest in gaining hands-on experience working at our fast paced Manufacturing facility located in LANSING, MICHIGAN.

    As a Tenneco SPRING ENGINEERING INTERN, you will be given the opportunity to learn about your chosen career field through hands-on work, management shadowing opportunities, and training events, among other responsibilities that support the Engineering department.

    Must be able to work independently and in a team based environment Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Effective time management skills Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word

    Required Experience

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Student currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution Student with a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher Ability to work at least 30 hours per week during the internship period January-May 2021 Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's license Ability to provide own transportation to/from the job site Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Student currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering from an accredited institution Student with a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
