  • Responsibilities
    1. Developing a solid and trusting relationship between major customer and Tenneco
    2. Managing of RFQ project Business case creation and updates Revenue and profitability planning (AOP, battle plan, profitability road-map)
    3. Driving and coordinating cost reduction and profitability improvement activities together with the program manager
    4. Execution of change management together with the program manager in line with internal profitability targets
    5. Acquisition of new customer projects Preparation and execution of price negotiations
    6. Contract negotiations with the customer Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, commercial status, contractual status to internal stakeholders including management
    7. Cash flow optimization and managing / resolving overdue payments
    8. Execution of administrative tasks such as purchase order review, setup and maintenance of commercial data in internal system (i.e. SAP), update of project status reports etc.

    Required Skills

    1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business
    2. Fluent in English & Chinese
    3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to interface & influence at multiple organizational levels internal & external
    4. Excellent relationship building and networking skills to liaise between multiple cultures and organizations
    5. Understanding of finance data and financial tools – EVA, GM%, IRR, etc. Technical understanding, organizational awareness in combination with problem solving skills
    6. Target orientation and drive for execution to meet deliverables and deadlines
    7. Willingness for business travel Analytical and logical mindset with excellent organizational skills
    8. Ability in problem-solving and complex negotiations
    9. Understanding of tools and methods in the product development are a plus (APQP, 8D, PPAP, Run at Rate, FMEA, DVP&R etc.)
