    We are seeking a Accounting Manager - North America Intercompany Manager. This position is responsible for the North America Intercompany accounting processes. This person will lead the Intercompany process, interacting extensively with the Accounting/Finance staff at plant and DC locations, and with the service provider and participate in weekly and monthly governance meetings with the service provider.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Activities encompass the day to day and month-end Intercompany process: invoicing, reconciliation, resolving open items, settlement and clearing open items/invoices. Requesting new accounts, partner set-up and netting access as needed.
    • Ensure business process documentation is adequate and up to date
    • Work with shared service provider on Intercompany process improvements, documentation and issue resolution
    • Main contact for any projects which impact Intercompany accounting (including annual audit support)
    • Manage and evolve performance metrics to evaluate the performance of the process area and to identify opportunities for improvement
    • Support migration of intercompany activities when sites convert to SAP

    Required Skills Required Experience

    EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required. MBA in Accounting preferred

     

    SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

     

    • Working knowledge of SAP required
    • A minimum of five years experience in corporate or plant accounting and/or audit environment preferred
    • Project Management skills preferred
    • Must have strong leadership, interpersonal communication, and project management skills
