CNC Mill Operator

Responsibilities:

• Mastercam computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software
• NC code interpretation
• Tooling definitions and specifications
• Machine setups and jig creation
• Tool Room 5S
• Crib saw cutting
• Drill presses, tool grinders, bandsaws and other general tool room machines
• Tool sharpening grinder
• Must provide own tools, but tooling allowance is also provided.

Skills & Experience:

• Must have mechanical aptitude.
• Must pass the mechanical comprehension test and toolroom math test.
• Heavy lifting may be required.
• Responsibility and authority to stop production when suspect products are being manufactured.
• Conform with Tenneco’s Environmental, Safety & Health Management System Policy
• Previous tool and die experience preferred.
• Experience with FANUC & HAAS CNC mill controls will be given priority.
• Apprenticeship program or associate degree in machine tool & die will also be considered.

Requirements:

• ** No** High School diploma or equivalent required
• Must be able to complete a background check successfully
• Must pass a urine drug screen
• Monday through Friday schedule but must be willing to work daily overtime or every other Saturday overtime as required. Occasional Sunday may be required.

Benefits & Compensation: $30.90 - $32.90 per hour commensurate with experience
