Local manufacturing company in Battle Ground (a subsidiary of a large international company) is seeking the right candidate to fill a full-time position that would require both bookkeeping experience and manufacturing knowledge.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities would include customer order entry, supplier follow-up, BOM entry, job orders, bookkeeping and financial reporting.
This person would report directly to the manager and needs to be able to work autonomously to support the business goals.
Qualifications:
• Accounting experience required, associate’s degree in accounting referred
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbally
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and software
• Analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Detail-oriented and ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy ▪ Experience in updating and maintain BOMs and creating job travelers in an ERP system
▪ Ability to create new part numbers based on material requirements
▪ Purchase order and vendor management experience
• Experience using an ERP system
