ABC Hardware & Rental is a local, growing company with several part-time openings in our Rental Department. The successful candidate will enjoy a fast paced environment, will have some light equipment repair experience. The best matched candidate will also be available to work part time shifts during store hours: Sunday 9am - 6pm Monday 7:30am - 8pm Tuesday 7:30am - 8pm Wednesday 7:30am - 8pm Thursday 7:30am - 8pm Friday 7:30am - 8pm Saturday 7:30am - 8pm Your duties will include but are not limited to: Schedule and process rental equipment orders and contracts Assist customers with rental equipment questions and concerns Greet customers when entering and leaving establishment Inspect rental equipment for damage prior to rental and upon return of equipment Perform daily inspection on rental equipment and tools Light servicing and maintenance of rental equipment Knowledge of all rental store products and services Handle check out transactions with customers Answer phones This position does require continuous physical activity including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting and maneuvering equipment Required Skills: Knowledge or tools and small engine rental equipment Outstanding customer service Outgoing and friendly Communication and time management skills Attention to detail and mathematical skills Ability to Multitask Ability to stand for an extended amount of time Point of Sale system knowledge is a plus Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays Your compensation package includes employee discounts on equipment and party rental items including: bounce houses, giant water slides, tents and more!
