    Job Description

    The Technical Writer / Quality Assurance Analyst for Cyber assessments writer will drive the development, collaboration, editing, review, approval and publication of process and policy documentation in support of cyber security teams and services. Primary focus will be on the development of process documentation and cyber security related policies/standards/directives, with an expectation of heavy interaction with multiple teams to gain consensus and deliver final documentation products that will be accepted by all stakeholders.

    ·        Works with a variety of stakeholders to continually improve quality solutions are provided to the client

    ·        Researches, prepares, and edits technical documents

    ·        Collaborates with corporate and government key stake holders to provide constructive feedback on presentations, white papers, contract deliverable documents, Standard Operating Procedures, etc.

    ·        Performs quality control on all deliverables

    ·        Manages templates to ensure consistent and repeatable representation of deliverables

    ·        Recommends automated solutions to improve key stake holder inputs

    ·        Manages timely delivery of documentation and works with key stake holders to provide timely input

    ·        Supports the development of processes to support continual improvements in services provided.

    ·        Drives continuous evaluation and process improvement of quality across all activities

    ·        Prepares briefs and status reports as needed

    ·        Takes ownership of continually improving and maintaining data quality by effective end-to-end data quality analytics, governance, monitoring, assessment, and enforcement • Produces monthly and yearly metrics reports

    ·        Works independently with limited supervision

    ·        Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex

    ·        Influences others regarding policies, practices and procedures

    ·        Provide timely feedback to the team and customers on identified problems, and associated mission effects

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Required Skills:

    A.     (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of related work experience and Familiarity with Cybersecurity concepts.

    B.     Experience in developing and publishing technical documentation

    C.     Experience in developing and documenting technical processes

    D.     Substantive experience providing document/process development support for a cyber security organization

    E.     Experience with producing technical design specification documentation by consultation with a system engineer

    F.     Impeccable mastery of English language and grammar

    G.    Master of MS Word, with very strong skills in MS PowerPoint and Visio

    H.     Provide quality assurance, analysis, and reporting to ensure AUDIT DEFENSIBILITY throughout the entire assessment process

    a.      Complete and audit-defensible packages;

    b.      Employ various mechanisms for internal QA/QC processes of security assessment packages prior to final delivery

    I.       Conduct various levels of quality control reviews designed to ensure the assessment was conducted in accordance with established policies and procedures.

    J.      Prepare Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation

    K.     Experience maintaining continual improvements processes

    L.      Some Experience working with tester and engineers and test documentation

    M.    Involved in a variety of cyber security assessments

    Desired Skills:

    A.     1+ years of experience in some of the following ares:

    a.      Developing, reviewing, or editing various cyber security documents

    b.      Developing, reviewing, or editing test plans and test documentation

    c.      Writing Operational Assessment reports

    d.      Managing and performing quality best practices and standards

    e.      Oversee the quality of test reports

    B.     Experience supporting Federal Requirements, Testing and SELC processes

    C.     Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    D.     Professional documentation, presentation and planning skills

    E.     Excellent time management skills and proven ability to multi-task competing priorities
