    TERIYAKI MADNESS Fort Collins is looking to hire an Assistant Manager!

    Come join the MADNESS! Teriyaki Madness is one of the fastest growing fast-casual restaurant chains in the country and we are looking for team members to join our location in Fort Collins, CO. We are looking for an Assistant Manager to oversee operations and workers during scheduled opening and closing shifts. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, opening/closing the shop, managing inventory, coordinating food prep activities, employee scheduling, working the cook line and cleaning/ operating equipment. Ultimately, you will ensure all aspects of your shift run smoothly and effectively. If you’re a leader committed to quality service and have experience in our industry, we’d like to meet you.

    The ideal candidate should have the following qualities:

    Responsibilities

    Understands and communicates the organizational vision, mission, and values.

    Recognizes the importance of reliability, timeliness and productivity on the job.

    Provides the direction, leadership, and communication necessary to achieve sales results and operating plan goals for the store. Ensures the store’s Shift Leads provide the same to the store team members.

    Works with the Owner/Manager to achieve store quantitative objectives including sales, labor, COGS, and expense management.

    Communicates all shift issues, concerns, and needs to direct supervisor.

    Responsible, along with the Manager, for maintaining operational excellence in the store.

    Responds to directives in an accurate and timely manner and ensures the same compliance of the store team.

    Recognizes and communicates to direct supervisor the outstanding performance of store team members.

    Demonstrates patience and exceptional leadership behaviors.

    Works along-side the Manager to develops a high performing staff.

    Ensure health and safety standards are followed.

    Train and coach new employees and provide direction to employees during shifts.

    Willing to work weekends, holidays and fill in for last-minute absences of employees.

    Inspect equipment and communicate the need for repairs or replacements to management.

    Ensure health and safety standards are followed.

    Addresses customer and employee complaints.

    Fosters and maintains a positive work environment.

    Skills

    Proven experience as an Assistant Manager, Shift Leader or relevant managerial role

    Knowledge of the industry and relevant health and safety regulations

    Commitment to excellent service

    Working well within a team

    Leadership skills and ability to make decisions fast

    Strong problem-solving aptitude

    Ability to stand for long periods
