Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Termite and Pest Control Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the termite and pest control services, you will generate leads, attract new clients, and close deals. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to creating and submitting sales reports, building rapport with new and existing customers within your territory, evaluating their needs, and negotiating successful deals, performing inspection of residential and commercial buildings for signs of pest infestation, advise owners on treatment options, and provide pest control solutions/treatments. The ideal candidate is an outgoing personality, exceptional customer service and negotiation skills, and a strong desire to close deals, service-oriented, and knowledgeable about various pests and their habitats.

Responsibilities:

Develop rapport and build relationships with existing and potential customers

Travel to appointments and meetings with potential and existing customers within your territory

Inspect the interior and exterior of buildings and the surrounding environment for any signs of infestation

Document all leads, sales, and customer interactions in customer relationship management (CRM) program

Use best practices in negotiation and sales techniques to close sales

"Cold calling"

Implement various pest control methods to treat the areas

Safely apply pesticides

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Pest Control Technician or in a similar position

High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred

Previous experience in lawn and pest industry

Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including standing for extended periods, crawling in small spaces, and lifting heavy objects

Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols when dealing with potentially hazardous materials

Excellent negotiation and customer service skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

A positive attitude and ability to be persistent
