    BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

    Terradyne Engineering, a geotechnical engineering company has an opportunity for a Business Development Coordinator in the Tustin, CA area to continue our mission of growth and quality work product.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    As the Business Development Coordinator, you will develop strategies, prepare and facilitate presentations, and participate in the preparation of proposals and bids. You will lead efforts to build and maintain strong sales pipelines and forecasts associated with substantiated opportunities for the Tustin office.

    • Develop and maintain a network of industry contacts, i.e., consultants, contractors, engineering and architectural colleagues, developers, clients; cultivate leads and gather intelligence through the network
    • Participate in client meetings with technical staff and project managers
    • Perform market research to identify new business opportunity leads
    • Develop and capturing unsolicited opportunities with clients to increase sales
    • Generate qualified leads related to geotechnical and construction materials testing services
    • Convert qualified leads into sales
    • Promote the company's products/services, addressing or predicting clients' objectives.

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Proven working experience as a business development coordinator or similar role with sales track record.
    • Minimum two years of business development, client interaction, pursuit of opportunities and proposal development in Engineering (geotechnical, structural or civil) or Construction fields
    • Knowledge and experience of geotechnical and construction markets.
    • Experience preparing proposals and bids to general contractors/other engineering firms
    • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to build rapport.
    • Time management and planning skills.
    • Ability to demonstrate professional judgment, consistency and strong attention to detail
    • Proficiency in MS Office.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • "People person" who is confident and has a positive personality.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
    • Exceptional work ethic, with strong values and principles takes all opportunities to go above and beyond the basic expectations.
    • An absolute commitment to client services.
    • Must pass a background check, drug screen, and employment verification per state law
    • Must have reliable transportation and good driving record

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $60,000-65,000 per year plus commission structure
