    About the Role

We’re partnering with a leading national HVAC distributor that specializes in residential and light commercial products, parts, and supplies. With a wide footprint across North America and a strong reputation in the industry, this organization is committed to providing top-tier service through a network of licensed dealers and contractors.

They’re currently looking for a Territory Account Manager – Residential Sales. This role can sit in either Omada NE or Des Moines IA- to help grow their customer base and deepen relationships within their territory.

    Compensation Structure:

This role follows a salary draw + commission model. You'll start with a guaranteed base draw to provide income stability while you build your pipeline and ramp up. Over time, the model transitions to commission-only, which allows top performers to significantly increase their earnings. The draw gives you the runway to get established before the full commission model kicks in.

    What You’ll Do

    • Drive Growth: Analyze the territory, identify growth opportunities, and implement strategies to win over new customers and convert competitor accounts.
    • Build Relationships: Serve as the go-to contact for residential HVAC contractors in the region, ensuring long-term partnerships.
    • Resolve Issues: Handle customer concerns promptly and professionally to maintain strong, ongoing relationships.
    • Develop Business: Proactively grow the book of business by expanding sales to existing accounts and generating new opportunities.
    • Sales Strategy: Participate in regular sales meetings to track progress, address challenges, and collaborate with leadership.
    • Promote Digital Tools: Help customers adopt new technologies and tools offered through the company’s digital programs.

    What You Bring

    • A proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within HVAC or building materials.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
    • Tech-savvy, with experience in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
    • Attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree a plus.
    • 3+ years of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, building or related wholesale/distribution sales experience
