The Territory Marketer for Unskilled Homecare is a dynamic, results-driven role responsible for driving client acquisition and building referral relationships within a designated geographic territory. This position focuses exclusively on promoting unskilled homecare services, such as personal care, companionship, and light housekeeping, to referral sources like hospitals, senior centers, and community organizations. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, the Territory Marketer will leverage their network, industry knowledge, and strategic outreach to generate consistent leads and meet ambitious sales targets. This role requires a self-motivated professional with a passion for homecare and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, relationship-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and Maintain Referral Networks : Build and nurture relationships with key referral sources, including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, senior living communities, and local organizations serving seniors, to drive consistent client referrals for unskilled homecare services.
- Lead Generation and Outreach : Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, in-person meetings, community events, and presentations to promote our homecare services.
- Meet Sales Targets : Achieve monthly and quarterly client acquisition goals by converting leads into active clients, ensuring a steady pipeline of referrals and engagements.
- Market Analysis : Conduct ongoing analysis of the territory's competitive landscape, identifying trends, opportunities, and challenges to inform strategic marketing plans.
- Community Engagement : Represent the company at local events, senior fairs, and chamber of commerce meetings to enhance brand visibility and foster community trust.
- Client Assessments : Collaborate with clinical and intake teams to facilitate initial client assessments, ensuring seamless transitions from referral to service delivery.
- CRM Management : Utilize CRM tools to track leads, document interactions, and report on sales activities, maintaining accurate and timely records of all outreach efforts.
- Educational Outreach : Deliver presentations and workshops to referral sources and community groups, highlighting the value of unskilled homecare and our unique approach.
- Compliance and Ethics : Adhere to all state and federal regulations governing homecare marketing, ensuring ethical practices in all client and referral interactions.
Qualifications
- Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare marketing, sales, or business development, with a preference for 5+ years of direct experience in unskilled homecare or related fields. Candidates with an established network of referral sources in the territory are highly preferred.
- Industry Knowledge : Strong understanding of unskilled homecare services, including personal care, companionship, and consumer-directed programs, with the ability to articulate their value to diverse stakeholders.
- Relationship-Building Skills : Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers, community leaders, and referral sources.

Compensation
- Base Salary :
- Starting at $80,000 annually for candidates with minimal experience (2 years or less) in healthcare marketing or sales.
- Up to $250,000 annually for candidates with 5+ years of direct experience in unskilled homecare marketing and a robust, proven network/book of business capable of driving significant referrals.
- Performance Bonuses : Uncapped commission structure based on client acquisitions and referral volume, offering substantial earning potential for high performers.
