    We're looking for an ambitious and goal-driven salesperson who understands the local market and can generate ideas that drive new sales to multiple hotel properties. We need a self-starter who can hit the ground running and always strives to exceed profit margins and revenue targets. Our next area sales manager is self-assured and has excellent communication skills to maintain relationships with existing customers while also seeking out new prospects through referrals and networking. The ideal candidate for this role will have at least three years of experience in managing sales, preferably in the hospitality industry. Responsibilities: • Identify new business leads by examining local market trends and competition activities • Assess the performance of specific properties in your area and develop sales plans and goals that are in line with the broader brand goals • Encourage the sales team to consistently meet or exceed sales goals and profit margins monthly, quarterly, and annually • Increase new business and accelerate revenue generation by cold calling, on-site visits, and sales tours, as well as engaging your local community network • Keep a list of important clients up to date to ensure the ongoing development of relationships Client Consultation and Needs Assessment: • Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand clients’ insurance requirements. • Provide expert advice and recommendations on suitable insurance products and services. Sales Presentations and Proposals: • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients. • Explain policy features, benefits, and pricing effectively to ensure client understanding and satisfaction. Relationship Building and Client Management: • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention. • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service. Qualifications: • Outstanding organizational skills and time management • Exhibits superior communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities • 3 or more years of experience in sales management or a leadership role in the sales department, preferably in hospitality • Must have previous sales experience working in the hospitality industry • Must possess a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business or a similar major is desired • You must have a driver’s license and a reliable vehicle. • Bachelor's degree or high school diploma preferred. • You will need 3-5 years of inside or outside sales experience. • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients. • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently. • Must have excellent communication, negotiation, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Compensation: $120,000 - $145,000 yearly
