POSITION DESCRIPTION This individual will be responsible for managing the dealer activity for the Radionix Intrusion and Access Control (IA) portfolio, as well as our other represented manufacturers. The position has the expectation of daily, in-person travel (4 days minimum per week) across Pennsylvania, Delaware, and southern New Jersey for meetings, demonstrations, local trade shows, and other meetings as determined from time to time. Responsibilities: • Study and research local market trends and competitor activity to discover potential leads • Solicit new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue targets through outside sales calls, on-site visits, and sales tours, and networking in the local community • The position has the expectation of daily, in-person travel (4 days minimum per week) across Pennsylvania, Delaware, and southern New Jersey for meetings, demonstrations, local trade shows, and other meetings as determined from time to time. • Achieve assigned sales goals for the region while maintaining expenses within the approved budget. • Provide comprehensive sales support to end users, distributors, and integration partners to maximize growth and maintain strong margins. • Assist with system design, product demonstrations, customer training, quotations, and special project support to secure opportunities and build strong relationships. • Identify and develop new sales channels and expand the market presence for all represented manufacturers. • Work closely with specifiers, consultants, and engineers to promote solutions and drive early project engagement. • Deliver same-day responses to customer inquiries, ensuring excellent customer service and responsiveness. • Collaborate actively with the Chesapeake & Midlantic Marketing team, contributing to shared success and organizational goals. • Promote products through organized events such as road shows, trade shows, targeted training sessions, and partner initiatives. • Collect and report customer insights and market trends to internal teams to help refine strategies and product positioning. • Maintain timely and accurate reporting, including regular CRM updates and activity reporting. Qualifications: • Demonstrated exceptional social, verbal, and negotiating abilities • Outstanding organizational skills and time management Residency: The applicant must live in Pennsylvania within the area of Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, King of Prussia, Philadelphia, etc., to be considered for this position. • Possesses strong technical expertise in designing intrusion detection and access control systems. • Understands basic network infrastructure, including IP addressing, switches, PoE devices, and basic cybersecurity considerations. • Is proficient with Microsoft Office 365 applications, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Teams for documentation, collaboration, and presentations. • Excels at delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations, adapting to the knowledge level of various audiences (installers, end users, consultants, specifiers). • Thrives in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment, demonstrating urgency, responsiveness, and excellent communication skills. • Is comfortable with daily travel within the assigned region for meetings, site visits, demonstrations, and events. • Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring all customer interactions, proposals, and reports are managed accurately and professionally. • Works well independently while maintaining a collaborative, team-first attitude with internal and external stakeholders. • Is passionate about continuous learning and professional development, keeping up with evolving security and technology trends. Preferred but not required: • Prior experience working with Bosch Security Systems intrusion detection products or similar high-end intrusion/access control manufacturers. • Familiarity with CRM systems for managing customer interactions and sales activities. Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000 yearly
