We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join Garmey Law as a Litigation Paralegal. As a key member of our legal staff, you will play a crucial role in managing a diverse caseload of personal injury and medical malpractice matters. Your exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, will be essential for maintaining effective client relationships and facilitating communication with outside parties such as insurance adjusters and opposing counsel. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with attorneys, prepare cases for trial, and contribute to the success of our firm.

Key responsibilities:
- Manage a significant caseload of personal injury, medical malpractice, premises liability, products liability, and motor vehicle accident matters.
- Communicate empathetically and effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties.
- Order, detail, and summarize medical records for attorney and witness discussions.
- Maintain an organized schedule for court obligations, case obligations, and client contacts for both the paralegal and attorney.
- Assist in preparing cases for trial alongside the attorney.
- Draft and prepare legal documents for attorney review and approval.
- Accurately maintain case management data in Needles, our firm's legal case management database.
- Monitor deadlines and take necessary actions to ensure timelines and deadlines are met.
- Thrive under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years minimum experience in the legal field.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong time management, multitasking, and critical thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to better serve clients and attorneys.
