    We are a modern, entrepreneurial family law firm that is on track for aggressive growth and we need a Legal Administrative Assistant to assist others in navigating their most difficult family law-related issues. We want to be known for helping our clients come through a difficult and emotional process, able to move toward a new beginning for themselves and their families. This is a full-time position where the hours of operation are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday-Friday. We are growing fast, and we need an Assistant who can apply their demonstrated organizational and relationship-building skills in a highly conscientious environment. This role will require your attendance, promptness, excellent organization skills, and most of all a positive attitude!!! Responsibilities: Perform legal research, as needed, with help from attorneys and paralegals Use daily time records to properly process client billing with support from the accounting department Assist with the creation of various litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, affidavits, contracts, and briefs for case preparation, and proofread documents a needed Be willing to take on any other necessary administrative tasks to help the firm run smoothly • Opening and closing the office, answering telephones, ordering supplies, processing mail, filing, assisting in the drafting of various communications, maintaining a number of calendars, posting client payments to Trust or Operations accounts appropriately within a CRM, and performing collections activities on client Accounts Receivables.  Qualifications: Candidates should be able to type at least 50 words per minute Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with quick turnaround times Applicants must have excellent communication skills and organizational skills Some college is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is required Comfortable working with all Microsoft Office products Please prepare a cover letter with no more than TWO paragraphs.
