Role: Test Architect/Test Project Manager – Web Applications | Finance & Payroll Domain

Location: US (Remote)

Contract: 6 + months

We are seeking an experienced Test Architect/Test Project Manager to join our dynamic team and lead the testing strategy for cutting-edge web-based applications. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in .NET application testing, strong expertise in the finance or payroll domain, and excellent customer-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement comprehensive test architecture and frameworks for web-based and .NET applications.

Define test strategy, methodologies, and best practices for functional, automation, integration, performance, and security testing.

Collaborate with product owners, developers, and clients to ensure requirements are well understood and validated.

Lead test automation initiatives using modern tools, ensuring scalability and maintainability.

Act as a trusted advisor for customers, presenting quality metrics and guiding testing strategy for enterprise deployments.

Mentor and guide QA teams in adopting robust testing practices.

Required Skills & Experience

12+ years of experience in software testing with at least 3+ years as a Test Architect/Test Project Manager.

Proven track record in web-based application testing and solid knowledge of .NET-based systems.

Project Management experience in managing a team of testers, QA engineers, and other project team members.

Strong understanding of testing in the finance or payroll domain (compliance, calculations, workflows, etc.).

Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and test management tools.

Expertise in performance, security, and API testing techniques.

Ability to interact with customers, understand their requirements, and deliver tailored quality solutions.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in cloud-based testing environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Certifications such as ISTQB Test Architect or similar are a plus.

PMP /Scrum Certification would be nice to have.
