Qualifications
Required knowledge/Experience
- 5+ years of experience testing equipment using IEEE or ANSI Acceptance Standards, required.
- Hands-on experience with electrical testing procedures and equipment.
- Working knowledge of medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) switchgear, control panels, PCD, and crimp plate buildings
- Familiarity with UL 891, UL 1558, DLAH requirements, and related industry standards
- Understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and test documentation
- Knowledge of safety protocols for working with energized electrical equipment
- Strong leadership and team development abilities
- Excellent problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
- Clear, professional communication with internal teams and external clients
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a production environment
- Proficiency with standard manufacturing software and documentation systems
Supervisory Requirements
- Directly supervises a team of Testers.
- Performs supervisory responsibilities by managing and allocating employee resources in accordance with company policies and company initiatives/goals.
Education
- Highschool Diploma or GED required.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
- This is a FLSA non-exempt position and is paid on an hourly basis, where project requirements and tight client deadlines may require workweeks over forty (40) hours (including weekends or holidays)
- This role is based on the production floor. This position requires standing for extended periods, working around machinery, and adherence to all safety and compliance standards.
- Mobility: Ability to move around the manufacturing plant, including walking, standing, and climbing stairs.
- Manual Dexterity: Occasional use of hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Lifting: Ability to lift and carry items up to fifty (50) pounds. All lifting should be done following OSHA standards.
- Visual and Auditory Requirements: Must be able to see and hear well enough to navigate the plant safely and communicate effectively with team members.
