Job Description
The Tester cooperates in the process of patient care by completing visual fields, OCTs, topographies, pachymetry and photography.
Meet, greet and direct patients to the exam room and prepare them for testing ordered by the Physician.
Preparation includes giving instructions to the patient regarding the use of the testing equipment, cleaning, maintaining equipment and keeping up with the stock of medical supplies needed to assist during testing.
Perform the type of test requested by the Physician; Humphrey Visual Field, Goldman Visual field and/or Heidelberg Retinotomographer exam.
Print the test results as needed and send the results to Intellechart Pro (ICP).
Record all tests performed for the day by chart number and ordering physician.
