HELPER

Tex-Trude is one of the leading plastic manufacturers in Texas. We are located in the Channelview area and have been in business since 1952. This position will work in our FILM DEPARTMENT.  

DESCRIPTION:

• Perform quality checks and examine product for defects (cuts, folds, seals, and perforations) to ensure customer satisfaction
• Packaging, shrink wrapping, and palletizing finished product
• Properly filling out labels, production logs
• This position may require the helper to climb up and down stairs to assist with troubleshooting
• Unload and load rolls by hand
• Box finished rolls
• Make boxes
• General housekeeping of work and other areas as needed
• Many aspects of the work are repetitive and physically demanding such as standing for long periods of time, bending, pushing, and pulling
• 12 hour rotating shifts, 1 month days, 1 month nights
• Some overtime may be mandatory
• Must wear PPE and adhere to all safety rules
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Non-smoking property; cell phone policy strictly enforced
• Must be flexible (work days, nights and weekends as required)
• Must be able to tolerate seasonally hot and cold working environment
