Tex Trude has been one of the leading plastics manufacturers in Texas since 1952. We are looking for
experienced operators, but we can train someone with a good work ethic and willingness to work. This position will contribute to the success of producing quality products such as plastic bags and sheets.
Tex-Trude has manufactured and sold a full line of Polyethylene and PVC extrusion products. Based in Channelview, TX with sales across North America, Tex-Trude serves the industrial and residential construction, industrial manufacturing, export packaging, oil and gas, and infrastructure markets. As Custom Machine Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently handling the loading and transportation of pipes, maintaining accuracy, following work orders, and contributing to the overall safety and organization of the yard.
The Custom Machine Operator:
· Operate machines to create custom products.
· Perform quality checks and examine product for defects to ensure customer satisfaction.
· Read and understand all production documents and order forms.
· Set up jobs and identify proper materials needed for production to maintain a seamless workflow.
· Properly fill out labels, maintain detailed production logs, and palletize materials for storage.
· Clean machinery and uphold cleanliness in workplace.
· Follow work instructions diligently and meet deadlines set by the company leadership.
· Adhere to all safety and health regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
· Highschool diploma or GED.
· Demonstrated experience in operating heavy equipment.
· Experience industry preferred.
· Possess the ability to interpret drawings, apply math and measurement skills, and demonstrate precision with measuring tools.
· Ability to work outside in various types of weather conditions.
· Many aspects of the job are repetitive and physically demanding, such as prolonged standing, bending, and pushing, lifting, or carrying objects.
