Tex-Trude, LP, a privately held company, has been in business since 1952. It has 3 main divisions operating out of one manufacturing complex: polyethylene blown film, PVC profile extrusion and PVC flexible compounding. We are located on the Eastside of Houston at 2001 Sheldon Road, Channelview, Texas 77530. This complex is located on 50 acres and has over 400m sq. feet under roof.

We are currently seeking Machine Operators for our Alpine & Film department.

A Operator is responsible for operating high speed machines, review work orders, ensuring quality standards and production deadlines are met.

Duties and Responsibilities

• · Perform quality checks and examine product for defects (cuts, folds, seals, and perforations) to ensure customer satisfaction
• · Packaging, shrink wrapping, and palletizing finished product
• · Properly filling out labels, production logs
• · This position may require the helper to climb up and down stairs to assist with troubleshooting
• · Unload and load rolls by hand
• · Box finished rolls
• · Make boxes
• Prolonged standing with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment required
• Able to operate basic tools and measuring devices (tape measure, scale, etc.)
• 12-hour shift work experience preferred
• Capable of working in extreme heat conditions
