    JOB TITLE: OPERATIONS MANAGER REPORTS TO: CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

    Texas Kidney Foundation (TKF) is seeking a professional Operations Manager to coordinate and oversee our organization’s programs and operations.

    The operations manager role is to implement the right processes and practices across the organization. Oversee all programs while ensuring organizational efficacy.

    The specific duties of an operations manager include formulating strategy, improving performance, procuring material and resources and securing compliance.

    You should be ready to mentor your team members, find ways to increase programmatic quality and implement best practices across all levels of the organization.

    Ultimately, we’ll trust you to help us remain grant compliant, meet our deliverables, manage our human resources effectively and manage the details for the new avenues of business created by the CEO.

    WHAT DO WE EXPECT?

    You must organize and oversee the daily operations of Texas Kidney Foundation. You will be the one to ensure that our business is well-coordinated and productive by managing its procedures and coaching its people.

    The area of responsibility for this role is very wide and thus requires thorough knowledge of various business processes. The ideal candidate must be competent and able to plan many kinds of operational activities. He/She must be an excellent leader who can identify the most efficient ways to run the business.

    The goal is to safeguard and augment the efficiency of TKF operations to facilitate accelerating development and long-term success.

     

    Responsibilities

    · Liaise with the CEO to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals

    · Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress

    · Supervise staff for each program and provide constructive feedback

    · Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements

    · Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation

    · Oversee grant processes and organize support and data to enhance funder satisfaction by ensuring that deliverables are met

    · Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability

    · Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation

    · Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors

    · Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics

    · Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations

    Requirements

    · Proven experience as AN OPERATIONS MANAGER or equivalent position

    · Excellent organizational and leadership abilities

    · Outstanding communication and people skills

    · Knowledge of industry’s legal rules and guidelines

    · In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. grants, report writing, customer service etc.)

    • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
    • Experience budgeting and forecasting
    • Familiarity with business and financial principles
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Leadership ability
    • Outstanding organizational skills

    · Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics

    · Familiarity with MS Office and various business software (e.g. ERP, CRM)

    · BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus
