Texoma Community Center (TCC) is one of 39 Texas Community Centers, which are governmental entities as defined by Title 7 of the Texas Health and Safety Code. Salary DOQ and experience. The HR Specialist will assist in the administration of human resources policies and procedures. They will partner with hiring managers to fill open positions efficiently and effectively. They will serve as guide to hiring managers through the entire qualification process for new hires. They will also assist the hiring manager in the transition process from onboarding to permanent placement in the department. The HR Specialist will manage and maintain all necessary data for Agency reporting purposes as it pertains to HR and will assist in managing the Agency’s HRIS system. They will ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations in accordance with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of Texoma Community Center. Operates under trauma-informed and recovery-oriented models of care which align with CCBHC standards. Education and/or Experience: • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in human resources, organizational development, education, or a related field is generally preferred. Experience and education may be substituted for one another. • Experience training and/or teaching highly preferred • Experience recruiting end to end for all positions • Two (2) years’ experience in an HR setting doing a variety of HR functions including recruiting, selection and knowledge of employee benefits preferred • Two (2) years’ experience using HRIS/ ADP systems experience is preferred • Working with individuals to strengthen resiliency and support recovery of individuals with mental illness, addiction or IDD is a plus.
