Texoma Community Center (TCC) is one of 39 Texas Community Centers, which are governmental entities as defined by Title 7 of the Texas Health and Safety Code. Salary $13.86 an hour. This position is responsible for providing extensive assistance and supervision for medically fragile adults diagnosed with an intellectual and developmental disability. This position provides therapeutic training/programming by means of scheduled activities (i.e. formal/informal training, assistance with utilization of typical integration activities) in order for individuals to achieve and/or maintain independence. Also responsible for enhancing consumer’s personal well-being and promoting social, emotional, and intellectual growth. This position implements processes and procedures as developed by the RN, LVN, BCBA, QIDP and DH Coordinator. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Day Habilitation area as well as total client care including but not limited to lifting, transferring, medication administration, feeding/g-tube, toileting/changing briefs and bathing of individuals in accordance with the philosophy, goals and, objectives of Texoma Community Center. Operates under trauma-informed and recovery-oriented models of care which align with CCBHC standards.
