Thakkar | DC has an immediate opening for a Project Manager in the greater Houston area supporting our Projects & Planning team. The successful candidate will be actively involved in projects from the initial stages through project completion. If you have 2 to 5 years of experience in real estate, sales, or construction and have the ability to multi-task (handling various projects at once), learn quickly and the ability to work with clients in an organized and timely manner then you would be a great fit. Responsibilities: • Lead technical specifications discussions and plan reviews to ensure any potential concerns are addressed prior to job execution • Assist in creating project schedules and detailed project estimates to ensure all efficiencies (i.e. SIMOPs) are implemented into the base plan • Play a critical role in the transition of projects from design to execute • Work closely with operations personnel on material coordination of selections to job sites as needed • Work with clients to ensure all client requirements are implemented into the plan and detailed in job project books • Acquire estimates, ordering of materials, and inventory of materials upon arrival • Assist in onsite walk-throughs of construction sites to ensure execution of design elements are being implemented according to plan • Review requests for payment to applicable vendors and subcontractors • Maintains complete files on each home in order to provide timely and accurate progress reports Qualifications: • In-depth understanding of residential or commercial construction process with the ability to learn quickly • Strong organizational and management skills • Strong communication skills • High attention to detail and accuracy • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required • Experience in customer client care, sales, real estate or construction preferred Compensation: $60,000 base + bonus
