Description Mission: Support Tharp Project Managers through superior organization, communication, and in office support. Allow Project Managers additional capacity to be in front of customers by supporting in office administrative functions. Continue to exemplify Tharp's brand to internal and external customers through strong communication and complete ownership for the execution of the assigned projects. A Tharp Project Coordinator will: - Have superior organizational and communication skills both written and verbal. - Drive results through effective communication and project planning. - Always consider the customer first while delivering quality and timeliness in closing jobs. - Overcome setbacks quickly and work with the Project Manager and internal teams to effectively finish projects on time, on budget, and of superior quality. -Develop methods for staying organized while making sure no emails or phone calls are missed. -Influence behaviors that allow for positive actions and accountability in their assigned work. -Assist the Project Manager with preparing and documenting outcomes from team meetings. -Follow up on action items assigned to internal team members. -Attend daily QDIP meeting to gather action items assigned to the Project Managers and follow up to get resolution. -Analyze individual short orders to drive to root cause and communicate the root cause to the appropriate internal teams. Requirements A Tharp Project Coordinator: -Can adapt to ever changing priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and root cause countermeasure capabilities. Adept at driving issues to root cause for corrective action. -Reacts to project changes and non-conformances efficiently and effectively -Flexible and Change-ready -Ability to communicate effectively with all key stakeholders within the company. -Foster and team environment that focuses on the customer while delivering quality and timeliness to their project. - -Ability to overcome difficult situations and create win-win for Tharp and its customers -Strong Written and oral communication skills -Strong knowledge of computer systems and technology -Ability to prioritize and effectively execute in a high-pressure environment. Preferred Experience: -High school diploma or GED required. -1 year of direct work experience in a project or construction management capacity preferred but not required -Proven experience working independently and in a team environment. -Experience working with construction projects relating to finishing trades a plus. -Solid working knowledge of the construction/general contracting sector of business. -Engineering/CAD experience a plus. -Scrappy- Do more with less, quickly.
