    Project Manager Loveland, CO Description Salary Range: $70K - $85K Mission: Drive profitable growth through world class management of planning, executing and finalizing projects on time and within budget. Continue to build Tharp's Customer brand with all customers through strong communication and complete ownership for the execution of the assigned projects A Tharp Project Manager will: - Define the projects objectives, oversee the quality of communication and product from point of field measure through close out of the job. -Define project scope, goals, milestones and critical path to support the business goals and customer expectations. -Will develop full-scale project plans and adhere to all communication processes within the department -Will effectively communicate project expectations to key departmental stakeholders and executive management regularly. -Will be an active presence at the job site and effectively communicate constraints and changes to the appropriate departmental stakeholders. -Determine and assess need for escalation involvement as necessary during the project cycle -Delegate tasks and responsibilities to the appropriate personnel by setting scope expectation, outlining deadlines, and following up to confirm deadlines are met with quality results -Identify and resolve conflicts within the team, as it relates to the project -Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path -Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, short orders, service tickets, add on orders and any pertinent information regarding the project to the key stakeholders. -Effectively manage the project/contract value to show adds/deducts throughout the project Requirements Essential Functions of the position: -Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crisis issues, and devise corrective action/contingency plans. -Drive results through effective communication and project planning. -Overcome setbacks quickly and develop plans to effectively finish projects on time, on budget, and of superior quality. -Define and evaluate project success criteria and communicate this to all key stakeholders throughout the project life cycle. -Coach, mentor, and supervise the associated project team members and contractors. Influence behaviors that allow for positive actions and accountability in their assigned work. -Build, develop and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project. -Conduct Lessons Learned and communicate recommendation documentation regarding successes and failure within the close of a project. -Develop best practices and tools for future project executions and management. Required Skills/Competencies: -Can adapt to ever changing priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and root cause countermeasure capabilities. Adept at driving issues to root cause for corrective action. -Reacts to project changes and non-conformances efficiently and effectively -Flexible and Change-ready -Ability to communicate effectively with all key stakeholders within and outside of the company. -Ability to create teamwork and cooperation for all sources within a project. Ability to overcome difficult situations and create win-win for Tharp and its customers -Ability to diffuse high pressure issues and conversations. -Ability to effectively read architectural drawings and company documentation. -Strong Written and oral communication skills -Strong knowledge of computer systems and technology -Ability to prioritize and effectively execute in a high-pressure environment. Preferred Experience: -Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Construction Management or related Field Experience -Two years of direct work experience in a project management or construction management capacity -Proven experience working independently and in a team environment. -Experience managing construction projects relating to finishing trades a plus. -Solid working knowledge of the construction/general contracting sector of business. -Engineering/CAD experience a plus. -Ability to coach and motivate a team -Scrappy- Do more with less, quickly.
