Position: Special Education Certified Teacher Job Description: Looking to relocate to Arizona? The ACES is the place for you!! We are hiring High School, Middle School, and Elementary teachers!! We are looking for teachers with special education experience for all our campus locations in Peoria, Phoenix, Tempe, Gilbert, and Paradise Valley Arizona. We are open to general education certified teachers too!! We are open to individuals with a Substitute Certificate (starting pay is $25.00 an hour). Alternative (starting to pay $50,000/year) or Special Education Certificate (starting to pay $55,000 a year). In addition, new teachers are allocated a budget of $1000 for the year for class supplies, thereby saving teachers from paying for supplies for their classrooms or students out of pocket. The ACES understands that teaching is tough. We are a teacher-centered organization; our goal is to support the teaching staff so that they can work magic with students! At The ACES, teachers have immediate access to school vehicles for field trips, ample copy paper and supplies, avenues to request new or updated curriculum, and access to classroom technology. With 8 certified CPI instructors on staff, behavioral intervention help is always available. We believe that teachers should be able to focus on teaching; we offer a Compliance Officer to set up all meetings, a minimum 4:1 student-to-staff ratio so teachers can focus on instruction, fully staffed support rooms for escalated students, and a state-of-the-art database with tracking capabilities to help with data accumulation, ESY tracking, and writing each IEP.
