    A 200+ bed acute care community hospital in the MD/DC region is in need of an experienced Nursing Educator Emergency Department to join their ED. This hospital provides the surrounding community with a network of talented healthcare professionals that strive to keep up with the ever-changing needs of the population.

    The Nursing Educator Emergency Department will have the opportunity to help educate and supervise the Emergency Department and nursing staff. Important roles of the Nursing Educator will include:

           Acting as a consultant and subject matter expert within the ED

           Educating staff and patients

           Providing clinical and educational resources

           Staying up-to-date on the latest evidence-based practices

           Implementing new training techniques

           Improving quality and staff performance

           Enhancing clinical outcomes

           Conducting orientations and training new hires
