Job description We are a large catering company that caters at beautiful homes, private venues, We also own a few beautiful event venues, one being in La Jolla. We look for entry level candidates to train in all aspects of banquet servers. We also welcome and seem to promote very quickly experienced servers into management, planning and coordination positions. In fact our GM started as a server and worked her way up to GM in only 3 years. Most shifts are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but some weekday shifts are also available. The first step is to schedule an interview. After the interview, we will set up a working interview. After the working interview, if we both agree you're a good candidate, will will offer you a permanent position. Shifts usually start around 2:00pm and run 8 hours, on average. We are also looking for bartenders and event coordinators! MUST HAVE UNIFORM: All black, professional uniform required. Must have all black shoes, solid black dress pants, black belt, black button down shirt and a black tie. Must have a professional and well groomed appearance Please answer all of the following information in your response: **If you do not, you will not be considered. 1. Have you ever worked as a server in a restaurant or banquet hall? If so, tell us about your server experience. 4. Please confirm you can work every Saturday. 5. What is your availability beyond Saturdays? This may lead to a permanent part or full time position. Due to Covid-19, we're offering employees an additional $3 per hour. This would bring the pay to $17 + gratuity, averages around $20 per hour. Bartenders also have the availability to make cash tips at bar.
