Job Description
The Abogado Ernesto Law Group is an established, successful immigration law practice serving the immigration needs of clients throughout the state of Colorado with offices in Denver and Colorado Springs. We are the leaders in immigration services in Southern Colorado and the most well-known Spanish law office in Colorado Springs. We handle complex immigration cases with a high level of passion and commitment representing vulnerable individuals and families against separation, deportation, and the hardships immigrants endure in an increasingly hostile political climate. We are a purpose-driven organization. Our purpose is "working for fair dealing for the immigrant community of Colorado so they are treated with dignity and humanity and have access to services and rights that we have come to value as Americans." In achieving our purpose we have formed a fully accredited 501c3 non-profit organization which you may find more information about at ColoradoImmigrantAssistants.org, and we have an in-house social services department to help our clients with many non-legal needs.
We are looking for an attorney to support the Colorado Springs office, supporting our immigration law practice, and working to build successful practices in other areas of law. Although our caseload is heavily in the immigration field, our practice is expanding into criminal, and family law. We began offering representation in Criminal defense in December and now need to hire additional support as we are growing quickly. No experience is needed, we will fully train the right candidate.
You will be supported by a team of professional and dedicated paralegals committed to excellence in a positive office environment. We recently acquired the building for our Colorado Springs office which was formerly a Bank of the San Juans branch with excellent amenities. You will love your work environment and workspace.
The ideal candidate meets the following criteria:
