Description: This individual is responsible for maintaining a warehouse; setting up apartments for newly arriving refugees; purchasing and distributing food; donation coordination and solicitation; vehicle maintenance; and inventory control of all activities through the warehouse. Provide employment transportation for clients to the job referral and job placement. The ultimate goal is to assist clients to achieve self-sufficiency. Primarily responsible for the assessment of newly enrolled clients’ needs in regards to resettlement, job placement, and casework services. The Case Manager will work with clients in establishing an individual assessment/service plan.Responsibilities: • Housing (Responsible for developing a plan for setting up apartment)• Maintain inventory control for R&P household items• Meet with clients to determine their need for items and communicate with them about deliveries• Arrange appointment and transport clients to health screening, welfare, Social Security, WIC’s appointments• Documenting donations and deliveries• Determine Refugee Medical Assistance (RMA) eligibility for newly arrived refugees and SIVs. • Communicate with donors and clients with integrity and good customer service• Pick up donations from various locations in the Harris County area• Organize, clean, and maintain donations in the storage area• Pickup and deliver donations for R&P and MG community members in coordination with Matching Grant program Manager and R&P Manager• Keep an accurate record of the count of daily donations and In-kind• Deliver donations directly to clients in a reliable and friendly manner• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle as well as and personal hygiene• Follow the assigned route and deliver the furniture and other donated items in the specified time frame required.• Pick up new arrivals from airports when needed• Develop streamlined methods for transportation to assist Alliance clients with job referrals and job placement. • Performing other duties as assigned by the Program Manager
