Conduct orientations for new students, assist students in completing intake documents reply to requests for information. Assist Program Manager and students with scheduling and proctoring assessments. Attend outreach events

Main duties include:

Conduct orientations on a bi-weekly basis or more often as needed.

Assist students with completing eligibility documents as needed.

Attend outreach events.

Return calls and emails from prospective students, maintain documentation of contacts.

Schedule/administer baseline and progress assessments.

Follow up with students as needed.

Maintain and in-service requirements.

Submit weekly activities reports to the Program Manager.

Occasional travel to other sites in Houston.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications and experience at this Level

Bilingual English- and one of the following Arabic, Spanish, Farsi, or French.

Detail oriented.

High School Diploma or equivalency.

1-year experience in working in a non-profit setting.

Strong inter-personal and organizational skills.

Demonstrated ability to work with people from many cultures.

Excellent time management and self-regulation skills.

Strong Computer skills.

Excellent communication skills, oral and written.

Flexible schedule.

Access to a vehicle.

Capacity, connectivity, and technology to work remotely when necessary.
