The Alliance Resource Development VISTA
Member Duties: The VISTA member will support the development of the organization’s resource development program by building capacity to efficiently manage and expand community support for Alliance’s programs which create opportunities for refugees to achieve their goals for self-sufficiency and well-being. S/he will assist the team in expanding community outreach efforts intended to increase community support (donors, volunteers, partnerships). Member Activity: 1. Support the development and coordination of community Advisory Board activities, including communications, organizing meetings, keeping activity records and follow up on action items with leadership. 2. Support the development and coordination of a donor event program, including outreach and logistical coordination for donor sponsored events. 3. Support the Alliance “United We Dine” sponsorship committee’s work to gain sponsors for this new international festival. 4.Maintain fund development department donations management database.

Originally founded by Association of Cambodian, Ethiopian, Laotian and Vietnamese refugee community organizations,The Alliance has expanded to serve individuals of all nationalities and backgrounds.
