Responsibilities: • Draft well-prepared pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and orders • Advocate effectively on behalf of clients • Resolve and prevent legal issues for clients • Collaborate closely with paralegals and lead attorneys to expedite family litigation processes • Handle, respond to, and request discovery • Represent clients in hearings and trials related to custody, support, and property matters • Participate in mediation sessions • Negotiate with opposing counsel Qualifications: • Must possess a Juris Doctorate degree • Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Texas • Preferably has experience in Family Law • Preferably has experience in Legal Clinic • Will assist in handling all aspects of family law cases from initial pleadings to post-judgment • Should have 0-3 years of experience Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 yearly
