HUMAN RESOURCES INTERN -Paid Internship- Job Summary Arc of Westchester is looking for Human Resources Interns to work in our Hawthorne location. The HR Intern will assist the HR Department with all recruiting functions, primarily for the recruiting of Direct Support Professionals. Duties include screening resumes, phone interviews, setting up appointments for interviews, employment verification and references, attend Job Fairs, and general clerical duties. Job Duties * Screening resumes and applications. * Conducting phone screening interviews. * Setting up appointments for individual and group interviews. * Obtain employment verification and reference checks. * General clerical duties such as filing, photocopying materials, preparing first day orientation kits, etc. * Attend Arc of Westchester, Colleges and other Job Fairs * Assist with preparation of events such as Holiday Celebrations, Diversity Committee and others. Job Requirements * Candidate should be pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. * No previous experience is required. Some clerical experience preferred. * Effective communication skills. * Good computer skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality * Detail oriented * Strong phone and interpersonal skills. DURATION: The internship will consist of 21 hours per week for a total of 12 weeks.
