    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    The Aspen Global Innovators Group is seeking a Program Associate to join our growing team. The Program Associate will play a primary role in supporting administration, communications, research, and program development across the Aspen Global Innovators Group’s portfolio of programs, particularly the Global Collaborative for Community Based Pandemic Preparedness, the Artisan Alliance, the Aspen Forum on Women & Girls and other core projects. This position will directly support the Executive Director in scheduling, administrative support and will also support research, writing, fundraising, and communications across our programs. 

    Executive Support to ED of Aspen Global Innovators Group (40%)

    • Manage the calendar and schedule for the ED
    • Prepare meeting materials including memos and research for the ED
    • Conduct research and program support for the ED on new and existing programs

    Business development and fundraising (20%)

    • Provide proposal development support including research, gathering proposal materials and helping to draft proposals across all existing AGI initiatives and emerging projects
    • Support management of relationships with key partners and collaborators of AGI
    • Support strategic efforts and future direction of AGI

    Communications (20%)

    • Support communications across AGI including social media, power point decks newsletters, website updates, director letters and blog posts
    • Support on key AGI projects (10%)
    • Event support to core projects
    • Draft quarterly AGI reports
    • Coordinate team meetings

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's Degree required, Masters a plus
    • Strong written and oral communications skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Strong communications experience and loves working with people and teams
    • Excellent interpersonal skills to interface both with junior staff along with high level constituents
    • Independent and self- reliant worker
    • Experience and strong interest in global development and women’s issues
    • Strong research and program development skills
    • Experience in power point, social media, document formatting and presentations
    • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
    • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and switch gears quickly
    • Experience in Salesforce, Mailchimp, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel
    • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign, preferred
    • Commitment to driving breakthrough solutions in global health and development

    LEVEL OF AUTHORITY:

    • Non-supervisory position
    • No budget authority
