    The Email Marketing Specialist -

    The Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing email marketing strategies that drive customer engagement, conversion, and revenue growth. This role requires expertise in leveraging email campaigns to improve customer retention, increase repurchase rates, and maximize customer lifetime value. This person must be confident, clever, a decisive decision maker, detail-oriented, data-driven, great at project management and juggling multiple balls and scenarios. Ideally, this person is also passionate about health and nutrition and is interested in or intrigued with biohacking to achieve optimal mental and physical performance.

    What You Will Be Doing -

    • Developing and implementing a comprehensive email marketing strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives
    • Designing and executing email campaigns to convert leads into buyers, focusing on driving sales and revenue generation
    • Developing lead generation strategies to build a robust and engaged email list, including implementing effective opt-in forms, lead magnets, and other tactics to capture and nurture leads
    • Utilizing data-driven insights to segment the customer base and deliver personalized, targeted email communications to different customer segments
    • Optimizing email deliverability and open rates by employing best practices and constantly improving email templates, subject lines, and CTAs
    • Monitoring and analyzing campaign performance metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and revenue generated, and use these insights to refine and optimize future email campaigns
    • Implementing upselling and cross-selling strategies to increase average order value and drive repeat purchases
    • Developing compelling email content that resonates with the target audience and drives engagement
    • Utilizing AI tools and technologies to craft highly personalized and dynamic email content.
    • Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in email marketing, eCommerce, and customer segmentation, and proactively identify new opportunities to drive growth

    What It Takes / Requirements -

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
    • Experience using AI tools for content, copywriting, and email marketing
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Impeccable grammar, writing skills, and deep understanding of direct vs. indirect email copy
    • Ability to track, measure, and report on results of email marketing campaigns to determine ROI
    • Proven track record of success in email marketing within an eCommerce environment
    • Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign) and CRM systems
    • Experience with A/B testing and implementing optimization strategies
    • In-depth understanding of email deliverability best practices and experience in improving inbox placement rates
    • Familiarity with segmentation strategies and the ability to develop targeted email campaigns
    • Knowledge of subscription programs and experience managing email to build subscription program
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • A passion for staying updated with the latest trends and developments in email marketing and eCommerce
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup-like environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Capable of getting stuff done without anyone holding your hand, and it takes a global meltdown or an apocalypse (at the same time) for you to feel triggered
    • Interest in biohacking and know the lingo even if you're not an expert

    Compensation -

    Based on this position and the requirements above we are offering a yearly salary range of $85,000 - $95,000 for this position.

    Benefits -

    We offer 16 days of paid vacation, sick pay and holiday pay. In addition, as an employer we pay 100% of our employees premiums for Medical, Dental, Vision.
