    We're looking for an ambitious and goal-driven salesperson who understands the local market and is looking to jump into the world of insurance. We are looking for a people person with strong listening skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate insurance programs and plans to new customers. You do not need to already have your insurance license. Our ideal candidate will embrace the opportunity to drive insurance sales among potential clients and new clients through a mix of networking, referrals, and marketing strategies in the Rensselaer and surrounding area. Responsibilities: • Use our proven system to create a self-sustaining referral stream for life • Utilize our continuous training materials and stay up-to-date with our revenue targets • Generate new business, close deals, and increase revenue by cold calling, on-site visits and sales tours, and community networking • Keep a list of important clients up to date to ensure the ongoing development of relationships Qualifications: • Previous experience in direct sales, outside sales, leadership, or business-to-business sales preferred • Ability to work independently and manage your own time • Great communication skills and ability to build rapport and establish trust quickly • Goal-oriented and able to meet deadlines • Active insurance license or willingness and ability to obtain upon hire Compensation: $80,000 at Plan Commission

    • Implement our proven sales system in the field that is taught in training • Conduct meetings with new and potential clients and carefully listen to their individual circumstances in order to present the best insurance policies to meet their needs • Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals • Stay abreast of any changes to rules or policies within the insurance agency to effectively amend insurance programs for existing and prospective clients • Implement marketing strategies including, but not limited, to cold calling and networking to connect with potential clients while simultaneously maintaining a portfolio of current clients
