Job Description
This position is responsible for managing the reporting, planning and analysis processes of the Deck, Rail and Accessories businesses with over $700m in sales. This includes managing and coordinating the business unit processes that encompass annual financial planning, long-range financial planning, dynamic forecasting, contingency planning and analysis of actual results. Will also provide financial and analytical support for Residential Business Unit strategic initiatives and participate in process improvement efforts within the Finance organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field. Master of Business Administration or related advanced degree is preferred. CPA certification a plus.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 10 years related experience required in progressively more responsible financial management positions, including experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a public company environment.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (e.g., pivot tables, V-lookup). Experience using financial systems/applications such as Hyperion/Oracle, Cognos and SAP
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to manage ambiguity. Exceptional verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills and ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear and concise manner. Strong project management skills and ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple work assignments simultaneously. Demonstrated aptitude to drive change throughout an organization. Proven ability to interact with all levels of management to communicate financial results, the impact of proposed business decisions and drive performance improvement.
