    DESCRIPTION

    The Assistant Relationship Manager is responsible for supporting the Business Relationship Manager consistently grow the portfolio of clients by enhancing the satisfaction of our clients by providing high level customer service through timely and accurate product implementation, coordination and processing. This position is responsible for providing support for a broad range of financial products including but not limited to commercial mortgages, working capital lines of credit, acquisition financing, equipment financing, owner-occupied real estate loans, construction financing, letters of credit, treasury management service and depository services. Familiar with a variety of the banking/financial concepts, practices and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Ensures excellent internal and external client relations at all times.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

    • Responsible for client satisfaction by assisting clients with day to day banking needs, providing clients with a single point of contact within the bank for their loan needs.
    • Ensure client receives an update or satisfactory resolution within 24 hours. Act fast.
    • Identify client’s needs and cross-sell the full range of bank products and services to new and existing clients. Don’t just sell-solve. Help client’s build their businesses.
    • Open Treasury Management products and process all forms for outgoing wires.
    • Responsible for reviewing and decisioning accounts on the insufficient funds list.
    • Provide assistance to Relationship Manager by gathering all information necessary for credit decisioning on all commercial, real estate and consumer loans.
    • Create credit file and scanned information to complete Loan Approval Request and Executive Summary.
    • Coordinate ordering appraisals, environmental assessments, surveys, title commitments and attorney prepared documents.
    • Responsible for running credit reports, good standing certificates, UCC and Flood searches.
    • Work with credit analysts in all stages of the Loan Approval Request and review loan approval, term sheet and/or commitment letter for accuracy.
    • Review all loan documents, including attorney prepared documents, to ensure all documentation is as approved.
    • Coordinate loan closing and prepare necessary documents for funding.
    • Responsible for ensuring that all signed loan documents are scanned into credit file and submitted to loan operations for booking, reviewing credit file in Synergy for quality assurance.
    • Process all loan advance or pay down requests, ensuring everything in compliance before processed.
    • Ensure that all client services and product processing activities are carried out in accordance with all regulatory, legal and governmental regulations.
    • Work with corporate compliance, loan and deposit operations to ensure conformity with bank policies, procedures and Federal and State regulations and laws.
    • Assist the Relationship Manager in monitoring the past due loan, exception, collateral and loan covenant reports.
    • Attend meetings and training as required to continue development and to enhance knowledge of products, processes and technologies.
    • Input Loan Approval Reports (LARs) in the CreditQuest system.
    • Adhere to all Bank of San Antonio policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

    Qualifications

    Minimum of 5 years of banking experience in preferably in commercial loan documentation. High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
