Vice President, Investment Underwriting
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Vice President, Investment Underwriting is responsible for supporting the investment underwriting of the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Perform relevant financial analyses to enable and support investment decision making, including discounted cash flow, pricing analysis, comparables to other alternative assets in the same sector and vintage years, and statistical models and projections • Conduct primary and secondary research on potential investments, industries, and asset classes • Prepare due diligence summaries and presentation materials for the investment underwriting team • Provide quantitative and analytical support to monitor existing alternative asset investments • Provide coaching to Investments Underwriting Associates, especially on their quantitative and analytical assessments in support of potential new investments • Provide overall support to the investment underwriting team

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree required. MBA or equivalent degree or CFA preferred • At least 5 years of industry experience in fields such as investment banking, leveraged finance, investment managers, commercial banks, and/or large investors (pension funds, large family offices, large registered investment advisors) • At least 2 years of prior investment experience investing in alternative assets (private equity funds, fundof-funds, venture capital, real estate, oil & gas/energy, healthcare/biotech, co-investments and/or secondary investments) across multiple strategies and geographies • Proven ability to work in a time critical, transaction-oriented environment
