  • Responsibilities

    We are looking for a tutor for our 7 and 6 year-old daughters (2nd and 1st grade) for the fall semester, and maybe the spring. We would like the tutor to come to our house 3-4 days a week for about 2 hours each day, so about 8 hours per week. The girls will be learning virtually through Fairfax County Public School system Tuesday - Friday. The virtual learning schedule is not set yet, however, we expect our school's virtual learning to be mostly in the morning. We would want the tutor to come in the afternoon either Monday - Thursday, Tuesday - Thursday, or Tuesday - Friday to supplement the FCPS curriculum. We mostly want the tutor to reinforce what the girls are learning through the FCPS virtual learning and not necessarily create a new curriculum or assignments. We would expect the tutor to be able to use some of the FCPS-provided materials. Focus will be on language arts and math. We'd also like some social studies and science instruction. Pay $18 - $25/hour based on experience.
